Michael Newkirk was called home to his eternal rest on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
Born on February 7, 1968, in Bristol, Pennsylvania, Michael was the beloved son of the late Frank Newkirk, Sr. and Christine Gundy. He was a lifelong resident of Bristol Township and was educated in the Bristol Township School District.
Michael was employed at Boston Market until his health began to decline. Known for his warm and outgoing personality, he was truly a people person who found joy in making others laugh. He had a deep love for music and especially enjoyed deejaying. One of his favorite sayings, "You didn't say that last week!" often brought smiles to those around him.
During the summer months, Michael could often be found attending the Tuesday night street services held by Community Baptist Church. He was blessed with a praying mother, and it is believed that her strong Christian faith helped guide him in his own faith in Christ.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Frank Newkirk, Sr.; his mother, Christine Gundy; and his sister, Elaine Newkirk.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Michael Newkirk and Jacquell Williams-Donaldson; his sisters, Annie Gundy of Bristol, PA, Helen Newkirk of Bristol. PA.
