In Loving Memory of
Mirinda Jeanette Tucker
January 30, 1971 – June 26, 2026
With profound sadness and heartfelt love, we announce the passing of Mirinda Jeanette Tucker, who departed this life on June 26, 2026, in Ewing Township, New Jersey.
A lifelong resident of the Ewing Township community for 55 years, Mirinda dedicated her life to caring for others. She was a respected and compassionate nurse who faithfully served her community for more than 20 years. During her nursing career at Greenwood House, she touched countless lives with her kindness, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of her patients. Nursing was more than a profession to Mirinda—it was her calling.
Mirinda was known for her vibrant personality, confident presence, and unmistakable flair that reminded those who knew her of classic Hollywood glamour. She had a way of lighting up every room she entered with her wit, humor, elegance, and unique sense of style.
Outside of her career, Mirinda found joy in the things she loved most. She was an exceptional cook who expressed her love through food, bringing family and friends together around the table whenever she could. She also had a deep interest in politics and never shied away from a spicy conversation about current events. A passionate animal lover, she was a proud supporter and member of the ASPCA.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Bradley and Dorothy Gaines; her uncles, Donald Baylor and Joseph Gaines; and her stepfather, Sergeant Major Charles E. Hilliard.
Mirinda leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, David Tucker; her loving mother, Joyce M. Hilliard; her sisters, Terry Beale and Desiree Flowers; her niece, Alison Flowers; her nephews, Darius McKenzie, Andrew Flowers, Aaron Anderson, and Aden Anderson; along with a host of cousins, extended family members, cherished friends, coworkers, and all whose lives she touched.
The family extends a special appreciation to Aunt Dorothy McNeil for her unwavering love, support, and presence throughout Mirinda’s life. Your kindness and devotion will always be remembered with gratitude.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Mirinda’s life during the viewing and visitation on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Avenue, Trenton, New Jersey.
Mirinda’s legacy is one of compassion, strength, laughter, and unwavering love for those around her. She cared deeply, loved generously, and lived life with grace, style, and authenticity. Though she is no longer with us in body, her beautiful spirit and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
