Nancy Ann Williams 93 of Flemington, New Jersey was called home on Monday, November 17, 2025.
Nancy was born on June 18, 1932 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina to Edna K. Taylor Hughes and Kendall Taylor.
She was educated in the Hopewell public schools. She furthered her education while attending Trenton State College (now known as College of New Jersey). She pursued a career in daycare, and Nancy owned and operated a daycare center at her home.
Nancy was raised in Pennington, New Jersey where she met and married her late husband Abraham "Ginger" Williams of Lambertville, NJ. Nancy and Abra-ham were married for sixty years. They moved to Flemington where they raised four children Robin (Jerry) Wilson of Millsboro, DE, Sandra Johes of Easton, PA, Edna Williams of Flemington and Kendall Williams of Allentown, PA.
Nancy was lovingly known as a Mom-Mom" or Ann to those closest to her. She lived a life rooted in creativity, compassion and service. She was an art teacher, homemaker, caretaker, devoted wife mother and a true pillar in her community. Her home was a place where everyone was welcomed.
Nancy was the eldest sister of Charles Hughes of Ewing, NJ and the late John Hughes and Roberta Williams. Nancy has a surviving aunt Peggy Tunison of Skillman, New Jersey; eight grandchildren, twenty great-great grandchildren and five great-great-great grandchildren} each were a testament to the legacy she leaves behind. She also leaves behind and abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral will be 11am Monday, December 1, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will 10:30am Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
