Nerida Matos

With much love spread and many memories shared, our beloved Nerida accepted her angel's invitation into the kingdom on Sunday, November I, 2020 in Trenton, New Jersey. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter. 

Nerida Matos, born October 13, 1987 in Trenton, New Jersey to Nereida Pineda and Generoso Matos. 

"Maria" as she was affectionately called attended Burlington High School and fur­thered her education while attending Harris School of Business. 

Nerida was an outgoing person who loved life. She enjoyed skating and just being herself. She had a strong bond with her community and those around her. Not only was Nerida a loving person, she was also a spiritual person. More than anything, Nerida loved and cherished her children and family. 

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Eneida Pineda; her grandfather Candido Pineda; her uncle Edwin Pineda. 

Nerida's memory will be cherished and forever remembered her daughter Janyah Parkman; her son Darnell Farquharson; her children's father Darnell Farquharson; her mother Nereida Pineda (lose Vazquez); her sister Carolyn Vazquez (Nevaeh James); her second mother Gail Victor; her best friends Shirelle Hawkins, Ellie (Rubio) Rivera and children, Noel, Ricky and children; her special friends Illiannette Vega and Paul Baldwin; a host of cousins, other relatives and other friends. 

  Services will be 12-2pm Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ, 08618. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.
