On September 8, 2025, our entertaining and industrious father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle, Norman A Smith, departed this life.
Norman also known as "Storming Norman", was born in Trenton NJ to the late James Earl Smith and Evelyn G Smith on September 18th 1956. Norman was educated in the Trenton Public School System.
He held several jobs in and around the Mercer County area, Trenton Train Station, All Clean Janitorial Services, and Trenton Box Lunch just to name a few. As a result of these jobs, Norman was able to acquire skills which enabled him to create businesses such as window cleaning, carpet cleaning and the like. Norman had a zest for life. He was affectionately loved by everyone and known as the life of the party.
Norman loved his family and boasted often about their accomplishments.
He was preceded in death by his (brothers) Wilford Y. Smith, Lester H. Smith; (sister) Beryl L. Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Andreya T. Smith (Trenton, NJ), Everlynn G. Smith-Reeves and Wilburn (Brick, NJ); brothers, Otis J. Smith (Cherry, Hill, NJ), Richard E. Smith (Ewing, NJ), and Michael A. Smith (Trenton, NJ); sisters, Jacqueline Smith (Houston, TX), and Patricia A. Smith (Trenton, NJ); 19 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
