Olivia F. Foreman Harris was called home to be with the LORD, Friday, February 5, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Suffolk, Virginia on October 16, 1933 to the late Elsie Nichols Foreman and Lawson F. Foreman.
She was educated in the Suffolk County School System. Fannie as she was affectionately called accepted Christ at an early age. In 1956 Fannie met and married the love of her life the late George L. Harris Sr. This union was blessed with Io children. Fannie & George moved to Trenton, NJ in 1956. Fannie was a homemaker and took pride in keeping a spotless home.
Fannie loved to serve the Lord, and others in the community as well. Fannie and George were Missionaries of Windsor Chapel in West Windsor, NJ. The Lord laid on Fannie's heart to start a food ministry. Starting out with ten families which led to thousands of families being fed over the years. Fannie was a great songstress with her signature song being Don't let the Devil ride.
Fannie was a loving, caring Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was such a precious jewel. Fannie was 1 of 27 children she was the third oldest child to Lawson and Elsie his 4th wife.
She is predeceased by: Her Husband Rev. George L. Harris Sr., 1 Son Elmore Foreman. 3 Daughters Chalaine Edwards, Sara Harris and Regina Bell. 1 Adopted Daughter Jacqueline Barnwell. 2 Sisters Edith Merritt and Novella Roberts. 2 Brothers Bishop Thomas Foreman and Rev. Jerry Foreman.
Olivia leaves to cherish her memories 3 Sons: Rev. George L. Harris Jr. (Harriet), Michael Harris (Tera) and Pastor Brian K. Harris (Sonya). 3 Daughters: Marcel Highsmith, Georgette Andrews, and Miracle Harris. 28 Grandchildren: Olivia, Joycelyn, Georgette, Charmion, Tonika, Patria, Emmanuel, Edwina, Tamara, Tamron, Zelena, Carlton, George, Cara, Tiara, Brandon, Chade, Tyyon, Shy, Ti'ary, Zanira, Bria, Marquia, Linda, Mikai, Ashley, Michael, and Damon. 35 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren 3 Sons In Law: Curtis Bell, Dennis Edwards, and Carl Barnwell. 4 Special Friends: Elise Bruno, Dorothy Winborne, Mother Clara Bell, and Gloria Blake. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Services will be 1pm Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 471 Parkway Ave., Trenton, NJ, 08618. Calling hours will be 11am until the time of services. Interment will be Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
