Omar D Burgess

When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Omar D. Burgess was born on July 15, 1972 to Mary Burgess and William Lane Sr. in Trenton, New Jersey. He transitioned from life to eternity on Sunday, October 3, 2021 in Trenton, New Jersey. 

He was educated in the New York and Trenton public school systems. He was em­ployed by the City of Trenton.

Omar attended Shiloh Baptist Church. In his leisure time, he enjoyed watching foot­ ball, he was an avid fan of the New York Giants. Omar enjoyed listening to R&B music. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a people's person who enjoyed life and he lived life to the fullest.

He was predeceased by his mother Mary Burgess; his father William Lane Sr.; his sister Ida Lane; a brother-in-law Herbert Johnson.

Ornar's memories will be cherished and forever remembered by his wife Steinett "Star" Williams; his son Raleek Burgess; two daughters Tatyana Burgess, Sierra Burgess; sisters Charmaine (Lester) Burgess and Stephanie (Herbert) Johnson; brothers William "June" Lane [r., Christopher Burgess and Daryl Burgess; his god­ sisters Lahkeysha and Tavisha Smoot; two aunts Lillie Bing and Betty Delores Atkins; his stepmother Shirley Lane; his mother-in-law Brenda Gerald; father-in­ law Steiner Williams Jr.; three sisters-in-law Shakia (Nazeer) Williams, Kisha Goss and Ebony (Dayron) Vaughn; special cousin Tykeera Whitaker; godmothers Felicia Travis and Sandra Owens; special friends Perry, Steve, Gamble and Karise Glover; best friend Rell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
