Omarr J. T. Robinson

Omarr J.T. Robinson was born on December 20, 1980, in Trenton, New Jersey, to his loving mother, Hazel Mae Robinson, and his late father, Robert James. From the very beginning, Omarr entered this world with confidence and grace.

He was educated in the Trenton Public School System, where he showed early on that he knew how to handle business. Following in his father's footsteps, Omarr became a skilled builder and carpenter.

Omarr was a devoted and loving father to his four children: Sincere, Siani, Unique, and Kennedy, whom he cherished deeply and loved beyond measure.

He had a true appreciation for the finer things in life and took great joy in sharing them with those he loved. Whether it was planning exciting vacations, dressing sharp, or giving lavish and thoughtful gifts, Omarr made sure the people around him felt special.

He shared over ten years of love and partnership with his wife, Mercedes Harris, the devoted and loving mother of his youngest daughter. Together, they were a team-built on love, loyalty, and mutual respect.

Omarr is also survived by his four siblings, each holding a special place in his heart: Deja, who has been by his side since childhood; Candice, who always looked out for her brother and sisters with love and care; Shanese, the younger sister they lovingly protected; and Rickey, the youngest, who joined the family fashionably late, bringing even more joy and laughter.

He also leaves behind several cherished aunties who played meaningful roles in his life, including Shonta Harvey, lovingly known as "Aunty Cookie," Cynthia Lutzenberger, and Anita Robinson. All the aunts were always there to guide the family toward the right path and encourage wisdom and growth.

Omarr was preceded in death by his uncles Bobby and Darrell Robinson, as well as his beloved grandfather, "Pop-Pop" Van Robinson, whose love and influence remained with him throughout his life.

He is also survived by a large and loving extended family, including cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and the caring mothers of his children. If there is one thing Omarr did right, it was ensuring that love and laughter were always present in every chapter of his life.

Though Omarr is now at peace, his family takes comfort in knowing he was surrounded with love and dignity as he was laid to rest-just as he deserved. He leaves behind a legacy of unforgettable moments and a powerful reminder to cherish life fully.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor, where stories will be shared, laugh-ter will echo, and someone will surely say, "That sounds like something Omarr would do.

Funeral service will be 12pm Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 11am until the time of service. Interment will be at Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton, NJ.
