Pamela Teel Smith

Pamela "Pam" Reneé Teel-Smith, 63, passed away, Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Virtua Memorial Hospital. 

Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, by parents Lucy and Joseph Teel Sr, Pamela was an intelligent, vibrant individual. A graduate of the Trenton Public School system, but her education was not limited to just high school. Pam decided she wanted to pursue higher education. Working 

tirelessly to acquire her degree, and in 2021, her hard work paid off as she graduated from Strayer University with her bachelors degree in Business Administration. 

While in South Jersey for a good fraction of her life, Pam's story is not limited to the North East coast. This (globetrotter) took the initiative to move to Georgia. While there she met some of her closest friends, worked for CDC and sought the opportunities that came with the state. 

Pam was a woman of many talents. Some of her hobbies included: singing, dancing, and cooking. 

Pam is predeceased by her parents Joseph Sr. and Lucy Teel, brothers Joseph Jr., Timothy, and Brian Teel, sister Roberta Teel, and brother-in-laws John Keese Jr. and Herbert Neely. 

She is survived by her husband William Smith, son Rashun Marinnie, brothers James, Russell, Keith (Dorothy), Chris Teel of Trenton, NJ, and Anthony (Diane) Teel of Willingboro, NJ. Sisters Cheryl Teel-Keese, Nicole Teel of Willingboro, NJ and Charisse Teel of Burlington, NJ. Goddaughter Laila Neely and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Funeral service will be 12pm Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Ministerios Fraternidad Cristiana, 715 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 11am until the time of service. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
