Patty Price Myers Griffith, was born on June 3, 1937 in Trenton, NJ. to the late John and Lula Belle Myers.
Patty, was married to the late Ulysses Griffith, from this union 5 children were born.
Patty, was educated in the Trenton Public School System. She furthered her education in the field of nursing. Patty became an accomplished Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide. Patty's employment prior to nursing was in sales. She was the top sales person in her area. Selling World Book and Child craft encyclopedias. Patty was able to invite her sisters Lula and Peggy and her brother-in-law Jerry, to the Waldorf Astoria in New York as her guests, all expenses paid by her corporate office. Patty was thrilled that she was responsible for making this once in a lifetime adventure happen for herself and her siblings.
Patty, among many of her talents, was a magnificent interpretive dancer. She was offered a professional contract as a teenager. However her mother quickly refused to sign for her.
Patty, as a young adult dedicated her life to serving Christ. She became a member of Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Trenton, NJ., where her brother was the Pastor. Patty was active in the church and eager to help in any way she could. After her Pastor passed, she attended Calvary Full Gospel Church in Fairless Hill, PA.
Patty, had the kindest soul and was extremely unselfish. She was a praying woman and constantly studied the Bible. She was a precious jewel who was a caring member of her community.
Patty, was preceded in death by: 1 Daughter; Audrey Windbush. 5 Brothers: John Myers, Erasmus Myers, Preston Myers, Rev. Horace Myers and Fred Taylor Myers. 1 Great Grandson: Maurice Winbush Jallah.
Patty, leaves to cherish precious memories 2 Sons: Floyd Griffith and Brett Griffith (Alma). 2 Daughters: Sharon Griffith and Constance "Connie" Reid (Mackel). 1 Brother: Carter Myers. 2 Sisters: Lula B. Carter-Liverman and Peggy Harris. Grandchildren, Great Grand- children and Great Great Grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
