Paul Timothy Livingston, affectionately known as “Timmy” or “Tiny Tim”, was born on November 22, 1960 in Ewing Township, NJ. He departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia PA.
Paul was predeceased by his mother Frances and father Kayron Livingston Sr., sister Karen Jean and brothers Kayron Livingston Jr. and Melvin Livingston.
At an early age, Paul gave his life to Christ at The Holy Temple Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, located in Bronx, NY. It was in church that he developed a passion for music and learned to play the trombone under the leadership of the late Bishop R. Goodwin.
Paul was educated in the Ewing Public School System and graduated from Ewing High School. At the early age of 13, he took an interest in his father’s business, K V Landscaping & Excavating, and learned to operate the tractors & bulldozers. His exposure in his father’s business fostered his skills as a heavy equipment operator.
While Timmy had many special interests and hobbies, his most notable was being a dynamite D.J. By the age of 20 he joined forces with his brother, Kayron Livingston Jr., who started the company Psychotic Jet Productions where he became a renowed DJ affectionaly known as “Tiny Tim”. The brothers hosted many block parties in the community. They also hosted many shows; Roy Ayres, Skyy & Curtis Blow at City Gardens where Tiny Tim displayed his DJ rapping skills. His great musical selections filled the dance floor. In his free time he enjoyed watching comedy & suspense movies.
Timmy adored his family and enjoyed many telephone conversations with them. Timmy’s memory will be forever cherished by his seven sisters Lynda “Flipp” Livingston, Mary E. McCollum, Rose E. Jones, Venita Little (Eugene), Tamar R. Bridgett (William), Ruethema Catto (Darren), and Faith Collier (Tharius), his brother Ralph Livingston. Timmy will be dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends. Special friends from Jet Productions; Jeff Howard (JD), Dave Lowe, James “Spaceman” Smarr, John Morris-007, Raymond “Muscles” Sanderson & Herbie Taylor.
Funeral service will be 10am Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ..
