Qui’Asia Brown Obituary

Celebrating the Life of Qui’Asia Brown With profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Qui’Asia Brown, a precious and deeply cherished native of Trenton, NJ. Born on April 5, 1993, Qui’Asia’s vibrant spirit illuminated the lives of all who knew her. She departed this world far too soon on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, in White Haven, PA, at the young age of 32.

Even in her brief time with us, Qui’Asia’s infectious kindness and profound love for her family left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. She possessed a remarkable desire to help others, approaching life with an active engagement and finding joy in simple pleasures such as playing softball, singing, dancing, and listening to gospel music. A devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Qui’Asia enthusiastically predicted their 2025 Super Bowl victory, a year that held special significance as she anticipated graduating with her Nursing Degree.

Affectionately known as Asia and Esh Esh, Qui’Asia was a devoted and adoring mother to her two beloved children, A’Mylah (4) and Salaam Jr. (3). Her life served as a powerful testament to the importance of family, with her children at the very heart of her dreams and aspirations. Driven and ambitious, Qui’Asia worked tirelessly to build the best life for them. She took immense pride in purchasing her first home and eagerly looked forward to creating further security for her family. Balancing her studies for her nursing degree with the demands of motherhood, Qui’Asia often expressed her anticipation of reaching her goals. She approached every endeavor with determination, all while intentionally nurturing her children’s happiness and creating cherished memories. Qui’Asia was building a life of freedom alongside her childhood friend and life partner, Salaam J Rutherford.

Beyond her dedication to her family, Qui’Asia was a licensed Real Estate Agent with SBR Realty LLC and also contributed her talents in various roles within the Social Services field. Her inherent passion for helping others led her to impactful positions at the Mercer County Board of Social Services and Waters Edge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Facility. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a BA degree in Health Science, Qui’Asia was on the cusp of achieving her nursing degree from Thomas Edison State University.

Qui’Asia was preceded in death by her Great Grandparents, several cherished Great Aunts and Uncles, her Grandfather Arthur A. Brown Jr., and her uncle Arthur W. Hall.

Her memory will be forever treasured by her beloved children, A’Mylah S. Rutherford and Salaam J. Rutherford Jr.; her godson, Damari Milton; her parents, Kevin Hall and Tamara Brown; her grandparents, Imogene Brown and Deborah Hall; her brother, Kevin Brown; her sisters, Shakeinah Hall, Tai-Tyana Jenkins, Jakiya Hall, BrAsia Hallett, Kanijah and Kaniyah Hall, Kah’myii Turner, and Ta’taniqua Watkins; her nephews, Yasir Roberts and Kacen Brown; her nieces, Amarah Randall, Nouri Johnson, and Raelynn Terry; her godmother, Hattie Wilson; her life partner, Salaam J Rutherford; and a multitude of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
