Regina Killings, beloved daughter, cousin, and friend passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and joy. Born on July 6, 1965, in Germany, Regina was the cherished daughter of the late Carol Killingsworth and Andrew Killings.
She was also preceded in death by her sister Rebecca Killingsworth, and her grandparents, James Killingsworth and Beulah Killingsworth. Regina was a proud graduate of Mercer County College, where she earned her Associates degree, and later completed her bachelor’s degree at Fairleigh Dickerson University. Her commitment to excellence and service led her to a fulfilling career with the State of New Jersey, Department of Banking and Insurance, where she dedicated many years before retiring in 2017.
Her spirit and smile lit up every room she entered, and her laugh was infectious. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, listening to classic artists like Michael Jackson, enjoying board games with loved ones, and spreading warmth wherever she went.
Regina is survived by her loving uncle, Jon Killingsworth, along with a host of cousins, extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Regina’s life was a testament to kindness, resilience, and love. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten!
A Memorial service will be held from 10am Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Interment will be private.
