Reginald Watson Obituary

Reginald J. Watson was born September 22, 1956, in Trenton. NJ to Warren and Donna Watson. He exchanged time for eternity on April 24, 2021 at home. 
He was educated in the Trenton Public School system and graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1974. One year later, he joined the US Air Force and honorably served his country for 4 years. 
 
Upon discharge from the military, Reginald began his employment career in 1980 as a correction officer with the NJ State Department of Corrections (DOC). He was also a member of the Special Operations Group (SOG) while working at the DOC. He retired from DOC in 2005 as a Senior Correction Officer after 25 years of service. In 2006, Reginald accepted employment at the Albert M. 'Bo' Robinson Assessment and Treatment Center. He retired from the center in 2015. 
 
Reginald, affectionally known as 'RW' was not one to sit idly around after his second retirement. He started a landscaping business known as Your Lawn and Family Handyman Services. He was well known to customers in the Willingboro area RW also enjoyed cooking, crafting. and photography. 
 
In addition to his parents, RW was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Barnes-Scott; paternal grandparents, James and Bernice Watson; aunts, Tura Barnes of Los Angeles, CA; and Lois Watson of Toledo, OH. 
 
Left to cherish precious memories are his loving wife, Francis Aida Billingsley-Watson; sister, Cassandra Watson; brothers, Donald (Janice) Watson; Wayne (Cheryl) Watson; aunt, Robin (Kevin) Wallace; daughter, Tamara McRae (Benny); son, William McRae Jr.; nephews, Kevin (Tara) Watson and Vashon (Monica) Watson; nieces, Donnesha 
(Sean) Williams and Crysta (Ezra) Bloom; sister-in-law, Gail (Walter) Daniels; brother-in-law, Robert (Sandra) Clark; uncle, William (Helen) Holmes; grandchildren, Devon, Tedra, Kyree, Megan, lmani, Kendra, Justin, Sir William, Powhatan, and Baron; special grandson, Dawoo; 11 great grandchildren, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends. 
 
Nothing could be more beautiful than our memories of you 
To us you were so very special, God must have thought so too. 
All of our lives we 'II miss you though the tears may come and go But. In our you 'II live forever because we loved you so! 
 
Funeral service will be 10am Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618.  Calling hour will be 9am until the time of service.  Interment will be Monday, May 10, 2021 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, Pa.
