Robert L. Davis Sr.

Robert l Davis Sr, of Trenton, NJ was born August 12, 1940, in Harrison, GA to Willie A Davis and Pearline Davis. Robert departed this life on May 13, 2023, he was 82 years old.

After the family moved from Harrison, GA to Trenton, NJ Robert attended the Trenton public school system and graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1960.

Robert worked several jobs including Princeton University Tower Club, Trenton Psychiatric hospital, Goodall Rubber and General Contractor/Construction and Security in State buildings before retiring.

Robert was predeceased by his, parents Willie A Davis and Pearline Davis; his wife Mary Royal Davis; daughter Pamela D. Davis; son Christopher M. Davis; brother Ernest Lee Davis; sister Dorothy L. McNeil; brother Willie O. Davis Jr.

Robert is survived by his daughter Rosemary D. Royal of Bensalem, PA; son Robert L. Davis Jr. (Belle Cox Davis); son Jubmar A. Davis (Kevia Davis) of Baltimore, MD; son-in-law Howard Davis Jr of Fairless Hills, PA; Jeraya Davis of Cummings, GA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; he is also survived by his sister, Annie Pearl Godbolt of Trenton, NJ; Aunt Martha Haynes of Trenton, NJ; Uncle Ernest Dickens of Camden, NJ; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Robert enjoyed working on his car, spending time with his family and friends, watching western and star trek movies.

 Funeral service will be 1pm Friday, May 26, 2023 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618 . Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be private.
