Ronald J. Jones Obituary

Ronald Jermaine Jones, 53, of Trenton, New Jersey departed this life on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at the Trenton Rescue Mission. Ronald was born in Trenton on November 29, 1971 to Cindy Jones and Ronald Jones.

Ronald "One Love" was a long time resident of Trenton and was educated in the Trenton School District. He was a 1989 Trenton Central High School graduate. He was formerly employed by Shop N Bag and Helene Fuld Medical Center.

One Love as he was affectionately named was also known as Jay, Ron and Black. He learned and practiced karate with The Russo Fighting Tigers. He played baseball for the NTLL and their All-Star Traveling Team

He was predeceased by his father Ronald Jones; his maternal grandmother Lubina Chew; his paternal grandparents Lucy Kirby and James Jones Ronald aka One Love leaves to cherish his loving memories, his three sons Kayron Jones, Rashawn Williams and Tareek Williams, their mother Sherry Williams; one brother Steven Jones; a grandson Jayshawn Williams; one granddaughter Taylor Williams; one niece Kyaisa Carmichael; two nephews Quavon Moody and Tekai McGreevy; one great nephew Mason Carmichael; his maternal grandfather George Chew; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
