Ronald N. Tucker, son of the late Madeline Davis and Nathaniel Saunders, was born in Trenton, NJ on June 19, 1953.
Ronald, better known as "Poncho" or "Ronnie" received his education from the Trenton school system.
Poncho was a lifelong resident of Trenton NJ.
Ronald's work history consists of working at Hill Refrigeration Company. In addition, he worked for Rick Bus Company and the Trenton Board of Education as a school bus driver, as well as driving for A-1 Limousine Company.
Ronald was known as an avid pool player, with a love for cars, and he drove them with pride. He loved driving and was willing to drive anywhere. Poncho is well known for his sharp dress style and smooth ways. He was one of the coolest men to ever live and he made his presence known. Poncho wore the best hats, belts, sunglasses, and suits. He was a good man with a big heart, and he loved his family. If he loved you, he showed up for you. Poncho was loved by many. Although he was truly a private person, he always worked the room at events. He truly believed in "working smart, not hard." All in all, Ronald Tucker, "Poncho"," Ronnie" will truly be missed by so many people whom he touched dearly.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sharon and his brother Stuart Tucker.
Ronald leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Pastor, Dr. Fhteachia Andrews (Andre') of Palm Coast, FL; and Rontel Gee {Oscar) of Trenton, NJ; two sons, Ronald Jones of Los Angeles, CA and Quincy Torres (Chaneice) of Burlington, NJ; S grand- sons, DeAndre' Andrews, Sr. of Antioch, TN, Davon Andrews of Palm 'Coast, FL, and Darius Andrews (Katie) of Orlando, FL, Jamier Gee of Trenton, NJ, Quincy Torres, Jr. of Burlington, NJ; 3 granddaughters, Eris Gee of Trenton, NJ, Kamani Torres of Burlington, NJ and Kamari Torres of Burlington, NJ; 1 great-granddaughter, Madalynn Andrews of Mt. Juliet, TN; 1 great-grandson, DeAndre' Andrews, Jr. of Antioch, TN; 4 sisters, Madeline McMullen of Trenton, NJ, Grace Taliaferro of Trenton, NJ, Rosalee Tucker of Trenton, NJ and Carlotta "Peaches" Tucker of Trenton, NJ; 3 brothers Herman "Skip" Tucker (Donzella) of Trenton, NJ, Irvin L. Saunders of Hephzibah, GA and Mallory Quick, Highpoint, NC; 2 stepchildren, April Dixon (Freeman) and Andre Givens; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 11am Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 150 N. Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ 08609. Calling hours will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.
