It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved father, son, and friend Ronald, who departed this life on April 6, 2025, at the age of 63.
Born on March 18, 1962, in Trenton, New Jersey, Ronald Wilkins Jr. was the cherished son of Gloria Ware and Ronald Wilkins Sr, and brother to siblings; Michael Wilkins, Andrew Wilkins, John Wilkins, Gloria Thomas, and Nichole Ward. From a young age, Ronald embodied the values of hard work, integrity, and unwavering dedication to his family-qualities that remained at the core of who he was throughout his life.
A proud and devoted father of two, Ronald worked tirelessly to provide, protect, and nurture. His love was steady, his presence reassuring, and his guidance profound. He was a man of strong principles, grounded by a deep sense of responsibility and an enduring commitment to those he loved.
Those who knew Ronald will remember him for his warmth, quiet strength, and generous spirit. Whether lending a hand or offering words of encouragement, he made an impact on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he held so dear.
He is survived by his two beloved children Latoya and Ouayshawn, his grandchildren Anthony, Jalana, savannah, Levi and Liam, and special friend Pam and niece Kenya, as well as host of family and friends who will continue to honor his memory and carry forward the lessons he so humbly taught.
Though he is no longer with us in body, Ronald's love, laughter, and example will remain etched in our hearts forever.
Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, April 17, 2025 at New Holy Cross Church of Christ, 500 E. State St., Trenton, NJ 08609. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. NJ.
