Ryan Alexander Andrews Montgomery, 36, of Trenton, New Jersey, peacefully departed this life at home on June 24, 2026.
Born on July 11, 1989, in Trenton, New Jersey, Ryan was a lifelong resident who proudly called the city his home. He attended Ewing Public Schools and was known for his strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. Ryan was formerly employed by Hertz Rental Car and later became the proud owner and operator of RAM Luxury Car Services, where he turned his passion into a successful business.
Ryan was a man whose presence could light up any room. He loved making people laugh, spending time with family and friends, and creating memories with those he loved most. Whether it was sharing stories, or simply being sur-rounded by loved ones, Ryan valued togetherness above all else. His kindness, unique sense of humor, and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Ryan was preceded in death by his father, Robert Montgomery; his maternal grandfather, Cosmo Andrews; his paternal grandparents, Percy and Marcella Montgomery and Uncle Donald Montgomery.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Andrene Andrews; his beloved daughter, Rylei Montgomery; his maternal grandmother, Pearl Andrews; his sisters, Ashlie Montgomery and Jaszmine Tucker; and his brothers, Robert Montgomery and Rashone Montgomery.
Ryan is also lovingly remembered by his maternal aunt and uncle, Anitra and Chris McMiller, Sr.; paternal aunts and uncles Kim James, Garlette Montgomery, Percy and Gary Montgomery; special aunts Donna Singletary and Rachel Saddler-Haslon; cousins Aisya Montgomery, Aaron Montgomery, Amaria McMiller and Christopher McMiller, Jr. special cousins Antwan & Maurice Singletary; nieces and nephews Ziara Montgomery, TahQuavia McCoy, Elijah Johnson-Montgomery Easton Roberts, and Braxton Montgomery, Two Godchildren Ashton Nelson & Natalia Spotwood-Randall; step-mother Barbara Burrus-Montgomery and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives.
He shared a special bond with God Brother Tyrone Morris Bowers, and lifelong friends including Daniel Clemons, Duane Nelson Jr., Maurice McClean, Jerome Christie, Morece Tapper, Matt Vereen, Jeff Randall, Josh Lopez, Nykai Rambharan, George Johnson Jr., Nadir Johnson, Tahir Johnson, and many others who became family through years of friendship.
Ryan was also blessed with God Parents, Dale Ellison and Paul Shaw, whose love and guidance meant so much throughout his life.
Ryan's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched with his laughter, compassion, determination, and unwavering love for family. Though his physical presence is gone, his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Funeral service will be 11am Monday, July 6, 2026 at Greater Mt. Zion AME Church, 34 Pennington Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service at the church. Interment will be private.
