Seamon Smith Obituary

 

Seamon Smith of Willingboro, NJ was born July 16, 1981 to Jacqueline Hamilton and Johnathan Ledow. Seamon was the first maternal grandson of the late Seamon Smith Jr. and Pearlie Smith and paternal grandson of Robert and Luna Ledlow.  Seamon departed this life this Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Virtua Willingboro Hospital in Willingboro, NJ.

Seamon, lovingly know as Bud, was a longtime resident of (South)Trenton, NJ and resided with his wife and children in Willingboro, NJ. He was a graduate of Trenton Central High School class of 2000 and attended DeVry University.

Seamon had over 20 years of experience as a warehouse manager.  Most recently, he served as the Property Manager for the Smith Family Foundation and Sakura Reality LLC. Seamon also served as Vice-Chair and Board Member of the Smith Family Foundation. His passion was to inspire young men to grow and develop into irresponsible men, to be great husbands to their wives and loving, supportive, and present fathers to their children. Seamon recently rededicated his life to Christ and was a member of his childhood church Calvary Pentecostal Church of Trenton, NJ under the leadership of Pastor Pearlie M Smith.

  Seaman's smile and presence filled any room re walked into. You could often hear him singing his favorite song "A Change Is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke. Bud wore his favorite color    purple ften with a tie and watch the match. He loved collecting watches, he had one for just about every suit he owned.  Seamon loved to fish, sing, and his momma he called her 5 to 10     times a day sometimes. He adored his wife and children. in fact, any conversation with Bud ended with how much he loved his Jenny and what his kids were doing in school or at home.      He would declare in his big booming voice how being a husband and father changed his life making him a better man.

Seamon was predeceased in death by his grandfather, Seamon Smit h, Jr.  He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, and their beautiful children Briannah, Jade, Josiah, and Zuri Smith. His mother Jacqueline and Step-fat her Jerry Hamilton (Ewing, NJ), his father Johnathan (Tais) Ledlow, his siblings Harold (Tamika) Smith of Chesterfield, NJ, Nathaniel (Amber) Sessoms of Browns Mills, NJ, Anthony Smith of Hamilton, NJ, Napolean  ( Jodie) Sessoms of Burlington, NJ, Anthony James, Leslie Morris and Juanita Ledlow and his two extended brother Mark Fleming; and Joshua Ross as well as his maternal grandmother Elder Pearlie Smith, paternal grandparents Robert and Luna Ledlow  a special cousin Eugene Bingham and long-time friend Franco Roberts along with a host of aunts , uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, family and friends who will miss and love him dearly.

  Services will be 12pm Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 471 Parkway Ave., Trenton, NJ, 08618. Calling hours will be 11am until the time of services. Interment will    be Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
