Shakita B. Davis

Shakita Biance Davis of Trenton age 31 passed away on April 8. She was born at Mercer Hospital in Trenton, New Jersey. She was educated in the Trenton Public School. 

Shakita gave her life to Jesus Christ on June 27, 2021 at Central Baptist Church where she was baptist She loved her family so much. If she was your friend, she was a friend for life. Shakita always kept a smile on her face. She loved her some ice cream and chocolate cake. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. Bobby Davis Sr. and Deloise Jones; two uncles Eli Jones and Bobby Davis Jr. 

Shakita's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her mother Sharon Davis; her father James Ramsey; her grandmother Ms. Ramsey from North Carolina; Shakita has more sisters and brothers from Asbury Park; her special friend Breeka; two sisters Latonia (Wade) Cameron Dominique (Major) Anderson; one brother Natqwan Cameron; two nieces Brianna and N'K yan; six nephews Kaliff Tyree, Zion, Khani, TJ, Prince Major; two aunts Marlia Bailey and Elaine (Melvin) Saison; stepdad Rodney Tatum; her long time friends Tim, JT, Knowledge, Fat Boy, and Lil, and Jeremiah; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

When you come to the end of the road and the sun has set on me, 

I want no rites in a gloom filled room, why cry for a soul set free. 

Miss me a little-but not too long, 

and not with your head bowed low, 
Remember the love that we once shared, 
Miss me-but let me go. 

For this is a journey that we all must take, 
and each must go alone. 

It's all a part of the Master's plan, 
a step on the road to home. 

When you are lonely and sick at heart, 
go to the friends we know. 

And bury our sorrows in doing good deeds, 
Miss me-but let me go. 

Funeral service will be 12pm Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08619.
