Shamira W. Williams

Shamira Monae Williams, 32 passed away at her home In Trenton, NJ on Tuesday August 25, 2020. She was born on April 3,1988 to Joyce Williams & late Lorenzo Bethea. 

She attended & graduated from the Trenton Public School District. She was em­ployed with Sodexo at TCNJ as a Dining Service Supervisor for the past 2 years, but was employed with them for 12 years under various job titles. 

Shamira was given the nickname "Ladybug" at the tender age of 10. She was a loving, caring, intelligent, funny young woman who lived her life to the fullest. She loved her boys with all her heart & worked very hard at raising & providing for them. She was very family oriented, she loved having her family & friends around her. Everyone knew her passion was buying sneakers, she was known as being a "sneakerhead". She really enjoyed eating seafood & having her mother cook for her. If no one else knew how to get her mother to cook, she sure did! 

Shamira was preceded in death by her father Lorenzo Bethea, paternal grandfather Paul Bethea, Sr.,maternal great-grandmother Dorothy Austell, maternal grand­mother Sharon Ildefonso, maternal & paternal Aunts & Uncles, and Best friend Stephan Nicolas. 

She is survived by her two sons I'mir Hutto & Michael Gammons, Jr., fiance Michael Gammons Sr., her mother Joyce Williams, step father Lorenzo Kirk, Sr, paternal grandmother Irene Turner (Joe ), sisters Latasha Williams, Martina Sanchez (Luis) & Chanigue Bethea, brothers Lorenzo Kirk, Jr. (Jessica), Edward Williams (Tiffany) , Breon Williams (Stephanie Davis), Rayshawn Washington, La'ris Brown (Tania), L. . Bethea, Dahshawn Robinson, & Lorenzo Bethea, Jr., godsons Jahiem Beckett & Zion Williams, godmother Takiyah Liverman, Lifelong Best Friends Shakenia Smith, Ra­phael Register, LaPorscha Williams, Lorraine Tarver, & Andre Alford. & a host of loving Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, God-sisters, God-brothers, & Friends.
