Shienise R. Mason

Shienise transitioned from life to eternity on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Capital Health Systems. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter.

Shienise Renee Mason, was born on Sunday, December 8, 1996 in Trenton, New Jersey to Freda Mason and Saddique Brown.

She was educated in the Trenton and Georgia public schools. Shienise was employed at Barista at Starbucks in Trenton and in Lawrenceville for 8 years. She was also a hostess for celebrities at club events and a cashier at Waffle House for 2 years.

In her leisure time, Shienise was a fashion designer and a rap artist. She enjoyed cooking, modeling and volunteering for community events. She attended church at True Servant Ministries.

She was predeceased by her great-great grandfather Herman Brown Sr.; grand-mother Linda "Lenny" Brown; her aunt Barbara Hoagland; uncles Herman Brown Jr. and Russell Brown.

Shienise's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her mother Freda Mason; her father Saddique Brown; sons Julius Johnson and Jakobe Williams; her sister Shannon Mason; her brothers Jared Mason, Saddique Jr., Sharron and Nybre; her Mum-Mum Mary Brown; maternal grandmother Jocelyn Mason; her two great-great aunts Ruth Gibson and Grace Taylor; a special great aunt Beverly Harrison; her great aunt Wanda Lucas; her great uncles Terry Brown and Clinton Roan; her aunts Johnna, Jacquilene, Janay Brown, Brittany and Alexandria; four uncles Taris, Davon, Jackie and John; her special uncles Frederick Mason, Nathan Rogers and Richard Perry; her stepmother Antoinette Brown; step sisters Jamia, Adrianna and Janel; a brother Adrian Jackson; two special aunts Shanieka Wilkins and Tikini Patterson; two special close cousins Sybil Lee and Bakhoum; her special great cousin Dylan Harrison; her godmother Tieka Patel; her special godmother Dalisha Carmichael; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1pm Friday, April 10, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be private.
