With much love spread and many memories shared, our beloved Shirley Ann accepted her angel's invitation into the kingdom on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Clover Meadows Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lawrenceville. New Jersey. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter.
Shirley Ann Hannah was born on Thursday, December 8, 1949 in Trenton, New Jersey to Richard Wiliams and Claire McCrey. She remained a lifelong Trenton resident.
She was educated in the Trenton public school system, and she graduated from Trenton Central High School.
In her leisure time, Shirley loved praying and reading her Bible, she had a passion for cooking and baking. She loved her family and she enjoyed spending quality time with them.
She was predeceased by her father Richard Williams: her mother Claire McCrey; a brother Chester McCrey: sisters Rita Mae (Elaine) Lambert, Catherine L. Ferguson; her grandson Ashir Harrington.
Shirley's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her sons Minister Robert L McPherson Sr. (Dawn), Ernest Townsend Jr., Harry Hannah, Wilbert Harrington M (Trina) and Paul Harrington; daughters Crystal Hannah, Latania Brockington (Troy); her cherished sisters Gloria, Phyllis, Mildred and Justine; bonus sisters Robin and Trudy; thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 12pm Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Calvary Christian Fellowship Ministries, 611 Parkway Ave., Ewing, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 11am until the time of service at the church. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.
