Tanya R. McCall-Clark

Tayna Renee McCall Clark aka Tammy was born on December 2, 1962 to Edith and Reddie McCall. She peacefully departed her life on Monday June 23,2025 at 8:20pm surrounded by Love at Capital Health Systems-Fuld in Trenton, Nj. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the Heavens are filled with extra doses of Love, Joy, Peace and Laughter. 

Tayna was Educated in The Trenton Public School System and graduated from Trenton Central High School c/o 1982. Tammy was a member of The Lady Eastern Star Organization, Lady Ruth Chapter 12 in Trenton, Nj and was Raised attending Cadwalder Asbury United Methodist Church. In the early 1990’s to Present, Tayna was employed by Carolyn Stokes Nursery doing what she loved, taking care of kids. She was also employed by The Department of Transportation and Mercer County Board of Elections North Ward. With over 10 years with The Trenton Public School Systems nurturing, teaching and loving all the children as if they were her own, which she was best at. The Boys and Girls Club and Lastly Capital Health System-Fuld/Allied Universal for over 20 years helping and catering to the Community. Tayna was always willing to help and always willing to be there for anyone in a time of need. 

To know Tayna was to love “Tammy”. Tammy was a proud resident of The North Trenton Community Born and Raised. With her affectionate smile and squeaky voice, you could hear and see her from a mile away. She was a Friend and Surrogate Mother for many people in the Community and on the job. Most importantly a Mother to her 3 Daughters. The Love she had for her daughters was out of this world, and she didn’t mind telling the world neither, as she would express it to anyone. Tammy Loved her Mother Badly. She also had a love for Flowers and her Daughters made sure to give her them while she was able to smell them, oh and Keyaan too(L.O.L). She loved to hang with her girls, go shopping, travel, party, look good, work, feed the homeless and had a major love for the Bike and Social Club Life.  She loved to Live her Best life as she would say, and her memories shows she did just that.  Tammy was loved by many and left a permanent mark on everyone’s heart and her Legacy will continue to Live on Forever and Ever. 

Tayna was preceded in death by her Daughter Ebonik McCall. Parents Edith and Reddie McCall. Brother’s Reddie McCall Jr, Arnold McCall and Uncle Tailrard Jackson. 

Tayna’s memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her two Daughter’s Ikeea McCall and Jemiera “MiMi” Clark (Shakira). Three Brother’s Carl McCall, Ellison “Mingo” McCall, Cardell McCall(Dorecca). Fiancé and Long Time Companion Anant “Nudy” Wright. Mother-In-Law Minnie Wright. Special Sister-In-Law Betty McCall. Two Daughter-In-Law’s Felicia and Twanna Robinson. Son-In-Law Davea Hicks. Three Grandsons-In-Law’s Quayshawn, Quameer, Quadir Robinson. Two Granddaughters-In-Law’s T’yanna Blackshear, Zoie Williams. Four God-Daughters Tamika Veal, Denita Mitchell, Shenita Ramsey and Keyonia Young. Two God-Grandsons Davon Fletcher, Keyaan Craig (Her Angel Baby). Special Niece Saleema Queen. Special Daughters and Son Mahogany, Pricilla, Tikina and Charles “Nook”. Two special Sisters Camdya (Sugar), Annette Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, coworkers, family and friends. 

Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 340 Rev. S. Howard Woodson Jr Way, Trenton, NJ 08618.  Calling hours will be 9am until time of service. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
