Teles Isabell Jr.

Teles passed away on Wednesday August 24, 2025 at Robert Wood Medical Center in Hamilton, New Jersey.

Teles Isabell Jr. was born Feb. 16, 1954 in Moultrie, GA. To Cora Daniels and Teles Isabell Sr.

He was educated in the Coulquitt County Public Schools System in Moultrie GA. He had lived in New Jersey for over 50 years. He retired from Glen Gerry Brick company of Somerville, NJ.

Teles loved to watch his favorite old TV shows, going fishing, watching football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles, listening to old R&B music, spending time with his family and eating good food. He was truly the life of the party.

He is predeceased by his son Jordan Isabell; his wife Carolyn Lockhart-Isabell; sister Rosa Isabell; Mother Cora Calhoun; brother Tony Calhoun; sister Gloria Isabell-Kelly.

He is survived by sons, Dion Edwards, Eric Irvin (Savannah Phillpot), Tyler Isabell; daughters Zikiya Lockhart, Amber Shabazz (Amir); brothers, Willard Bernard Isabell (Avis), Tommy Isabell (Beverly) of Baton Rouge, MS, Steve Isabell, Baton Rouge, MS; sister, Sonia Calhoun-Williams (Tony); grandchildren, Kompassionett G. Felton, E'Nylah Millacan, Brayden Onyx Irvin, Layla Reign Irvin, Asia Irvin, Jaelan, James, Kamden and Harlem Lockhart, Amir, Azmeer and Azia Shabazz; niece/goddaughter Toshua Isabell-Tanner (Terrance); and a host of many family and friends.

Funeral service will be 10am Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.
