Terry Jackson

Terry Lynn Jackson, 66, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, at Elms Nursing Home. Born on October 26, 1959, at Mercer Hospital in Trenton, New Jersey, Terry lived a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to family.

Terry was educated in the Trenton Public School system, attending Cadwalader Elementary School, Grant Elementary School, Junior 2 Middle School, and attended Trenton High School. She was a resident of Trenton, New Jersey for 15 years before relocating to Orlando, Florida. At the age of 58, she returned home to Trenton.

Terry worked as a nurse aide, a profession that reflected her caring and compassionate spirit. She was a devoted Christian who loved gospel music and found joy in worship. She also enjoyed listening to her favorite artists and slow jams, which brought her comfort and peace.

Terry was a loving and selfless woman who always put others before herself. She was a hard worker and a devoted mother and grandmother. Her love was constant, strong, and unconditional.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Godbolt; her father, George; her siblings, Almita Godbolt and George Godbolt; and her nephew, George.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Seneca Howard; her cherished grandchild, Senaih Howard; her siblings Felicia Godbolt, Valerie Williams (and her husband, Reginald Williams), Brian Jackson, and Mark Jackson; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who loved her dearly.

Her son and grandchild will always love her. She was the best thing that ever happened to them, and her love will remain in their hearts forever.

Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
