Timothy Lockhart Sr. Obituary

On Friday, October 31, 2025, Timothy Lockhart, Sr. passed peacefully from this life into eternal glory at his home in Trevose, PA, at the age of 68.

Timothy was born on June 11, 1957, to Richard Lockhart, Jr. and Ophelia Bennett Lockhart in Princeton, New Jersey and he was the youngest of 9 children. He was affectionately known as "Timmy". He was educated in the Princeton Public School System.

Timmy was truly an adventurous child! Timmy was a lifelong entrepreneur and had numerous skills and hobbies. Skills like writing, winning legal briefs for causes he believed in, preparing tax returns, gardening, extensive knowledge of herbs, welding, jigs making and fishing. He could fix pretty much anything! He was an outstanding cook and always made sure you were fed at a cookout or Sunday dinners. To say he was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan would be an understatement! He was quick to disconnect your call if you interrupted him during his game. He took delight in sharing his passion for movies with his daughter.

A true family man! He was a protector, a provider and centered the structure of his family around his faith. He never failed to give words of encouragement or lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

In 2019, Timmy's faith led him to found a daily online Bible scripture group. That group was a beacon of light and hope to many, especially during the early trying days of Covid. He continuedto lead that group until his strength to do so was gone. A mentor to those in his life, he will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Jr. and Ophelia Lockhart; four brothers, Joseph, Richard II, Henry and Vernon Lockhart; and two sisters, Mary Marinnie and Emma Jeane Moreland.

Timothy leaves to cherish his memory, devoted partner of 30 years, Regina Wilson of Trevose, PA; his sisters, Daisy (Larry) Irving of Indiana and Linda (Douglas) Griffith of New York; sister-in-law, Aileen Lockhart of Trenton, New Jersey; cherished children, Adrienne (Victor) and Timothy Lockhart, Jr. (Andreanna) both of Virginia Beach, VA; a bonus daughter, Tyshara Fleming of Virginia Beach, VA; six grandchildren, Xavier, Zharia, Yazmin, Jayon, Caden and Kaydence; a very very special nephew, Henry (Rebecca) Davis; a beloved niece, Zikiya Lockhart; a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
