Tina M. Martinez

Tina M. Martinez was born on October 11, 1962 in Trenton, New Jersey to William Barksdale and Willis May Martinez. On Sunday, April 27, 2025, God sent an Angel to bring his daughter home. Tina went to sleep on Earth only to be awaken in paradise to be amongst the chosen.

She was educated in the Trenton public school system. Tina graduated from Trenton Central High School. She continued pursuing her education while attending Mercer County Community College. She was employed by Northern Princeton Developmental Center.

In her leisure time, Tina enjoyed watching horror movies, shopping and cooking. She loved spending quality time with her family, especially with her son and granddaughter.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Anthony Martinez; two aunts Carol Worley and Myrtle Brown; a great aunt Virginia Moore; a special cousin Princess Worley; an uncle Thomas Briggs; a great uncle Jesse Jackson.

Tina's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her son Jesse Graves Jr.; granddaughter Asami Graves; her brother Gene Martinez (Yvette); her two aunts Shirley Briggs and Doris Ann Jackson; an uncle James Brown; her special cousin Pat Briggs; her best friend Carol from Kirkbride Avenue; her dear friend Jesse Graves Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12pm Friday, May 9, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 11am until the time of service. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
