Tony Ray Screws

Tony Ray Screws, 63, of Hightstown, NJ passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020

Born in Trenton, to the late Laura and Lee Screws.  Tony graduated from Hightstown High School in 1975 where he played on the football team.  Tony was a welder at RAS Processing Equipment.   He was a congregant at Central Baptist Church, where he played with the worship team.  Tony loved the Lord, his family, football, listening to great music and playing his guitar.   Tony was a father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  He is loved beyond measure and will be deeply missed.  

Predeceased by his Parents (Laura and Lee Screws), sister (Ann Screws), brothers (Johnny and Timmy Screws) and granddaughter (Nyah Vargas).  He is survived by his daughters Ryanne Seldon, spouse Antonio Seldon Jr., Erin Powell spouse Keven Powell. His grandchildren Maui Seldon, Soraya and Santos Powell.  His siblings, Mae Thompson, Carolyn Screws, Gene and Nelda Screws, Cleveland Screws, and Louie and Linda Scrouse. His ex-wife Pamella Thomas and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.  

Tony’s home going celebration will be held on Tuesday, October 20,2020 at Central Baptist Church in Ewing.  Viewing is from 9am-10am with a service to follow.  Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hightstown, NJ.  Mask are required to attend.
