Vivian R. Gordon Obituary

With deep love and sorrow: we announce the passing of Vivian Renice Gordon, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother. Sister, aunt and friend, who departed this life peacefully on March 5, 2026, in Trenton, NJ.

Vivian was born on February 20, 1960, in New Brunswick, J to Overseer Shirley Smalls (Trenton, NJ) and Johnnie Lee Gordon Sr. (Stepmother, Gloria) Wilmington, DE.

From the very beginning. Vivian radiated kindness, strength, and grace. Vivian carried these qualities with her throughout her life touching the hearts of everyone she met.

She attended school in Mercer County School District and graduated from Hightstown High School.

Before Retirement Vivian was an employee at Jamesway/Lerner Warehouse (Cranbury, NJ) Star Tour Bus (Hamilton, NJ, and New Jersey Share's (Trenton, NJ).

Vivian was a dedicated member of Lion of Judah Faith Center In where she served on the Missionary Board and Kitchen Committee’s.

Vivian is predeceased by :(Husbands) Charles Bryant Sr. and Marc Morris Highsmith. (Daughter) Shirley Dixon Rodriguez, (Grandson) Uriyah Rodrignez. (Maternal Grandparents) Katie Mae and William Richard Powell (Paternal Grandparents) Zora and William Gordon, (Stepfather) Otis B. Smalls. (Nephew) Ahman Fralin. Survivors: (Sons) Charles Bryant Jr. and William Dixon. (Daughter) Ebony Bryant (all of Trenton NJ) (Grandchildren) Charles Bryant III, Devon Bryant. Daquan Cullers, DaVant'e Bryant, Zynaja Dixon, Azuria Dixon. Ceriana Rodriquez and Tiana Rodriquez (Mother). Overseer Shirley Smalls (Trenton, NJ). (Father). Johnnie Lee Gordon Sr. (Gloria) Wilmington, DE (Brothers) Johnnie Lee Gordon Jr. (Kathy) Morrisville, PA. Timothy Smalls (Donna) Williamstown, NJ, Isaiah Smalls Trenton, NJ, and Johnnie Lee Gordon III North Carolina Sisters: Dora Fralin (Tony) Morrisville PA, Gineen Gordon Delaware. (Nieces) Tiffany, Tyis, Leasha, Britany, Tamara, Ebony, Shannon, Shonda, and Nia. (Nephews) Timothy Jr., Terrance. Randy, Man-Man. Lt Ikie, Amir, Malik, and Omar, (Sister and Brother-n-laws, Tonna, Brenda and Jerry. (Cousins and Friends) Tiny Mae, Sparkle, Bernadine, Apostle Tina Douglas Gibson. Lynwood, Lt Buddy, Cindy. Bill, Celeste/giggles, and a host of cousins, family and friends.

Vivian's life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

 

Funeral service will be 11am Monday, March 16, 2026 at Lion of Judah Faith Center, 1270 E. State St., Trenton, NJ 08609. Calling hour will be 10 am until the time of service at the church. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.
