CELEBRATION OF LIFE – JANUARY 26, 1948 – NOVEMBER 25, 2020
Wanda Arnette Morris, 72, went to her heavenly home on, November 25, 2020, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton, NJ.
She was born and raised in Ewing Township, Trenton, NJ, where she resided for over 30 years until she relocated to Morrisville, PA. She was educated at Ewing High School and Bluefield State College, Bluefield, WV.
For over 35 years she was employed by New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) in various positions and retired in 2006. She will always be remembered for her warm smile, love of people and caring ways. Wanda was a devoted daughter to her parents, Gloria and Charles Ivory, family, and friends.
She was an active member of Shiloh Baptist Church, for 60 years.
Wanda was preceded in death by her loving mother, Gloria H. Ivory; her father, Edward Morris; grandparents, Isaiah and Burlene Higginbotham and Frank and Mary Morris; and her girlfriend, Shelia Robinson.
Wanda leaves to cherish her precious memory a devoted father, Charles H. Ivory, Hamilton, NJ; a special cousin, Earline West, Lawrence Township, NJ; Sistah/Best Friend, Thelma Ferguson, Woodbridge, VA; a childhood Best Friend, Della Gr9ham, Hawaii; two aunts Deborah Storey, Gainesville, GA; and Jean Ivory, Atlanta, GA; two God Sons, Todd and Charles Robinson, Dallas, GA; cousins, Deacon Walter Staton and Deacon Michael Staton (Cheryl), Ewing, NJ; and many cousins, relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may made to the local Scholarship Fund at Shiloh Baptist Church and the local American Cancer Society in her name. Services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020, 12-2pm at Hughes Funeral Home. Viewing will be 12-12:30 and a service immediately following.
