Life reflections
Warren Stephen Kenney was born on August 19, 1963, to Dr. James F. Kenney and the late Velma Lowe Kenney. He departed this life on Monday, May 1, 2023, in the comfort of his home in Robbinsville, New Jersey.
Good student with exemplary athletic ability
Warren was educated in the Mendham, New Jersey Public Schools and graduated from Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina in 1985. He had a natural athletic ability in soccer. He was so impressive at his high school soccer try out drills that he was placed on the varsity soccer team as a first-string player. He received a full scholarship from Barton College in Wilson, NC, which is a Liberal Arts College and a Christian College of approximately 1,000 students and nationally recognized for its championship athletics teams (Bulldogs) and educational programs.
He was a great, private, man of integrity
Warren's was a life well lived! He was a loving, warm-hearted, intelligent, decisive, honest, reliable, calm, dynamic, inspirational, pragmatic, courageous, determined, distinguished gentleman. He had a passion for animals, especially cats. He raised several cats in his lifetime and recently adopted two orphaned sisters from an animal shelter in Ewing, NJ named Alex and Samantha. He loved his "furry daughters" and spoiled them with the top-of-the-line cat food and would donate food and toys to animal shelters throughout the year. Although Warren worked long hours developing process improvement plans for Fortune 50 companies, he always found time to be a good friend to others and was quite lucky with slots at the casino which was a profitable stress reliever. Warren was a "foodie" who loved steak & seafood and dining in the finest restaurants. He enjoyed fishing, mountain biking, Caribbean spicy lobster snorkeling, high-end electronics and was an avid collector of niche and designer men's fragrances in which he has over 500 bottles of men's cologne in his personal collection. Warren loved comedy!! And would often listen to Howard Stern while driving in the car and watch hilarious Youtube videos. He would often burst out in a laughter with a huge grin on his face and say "Now that was funny!".
Sixteen years ago, Warren met the love of his life Evette Kendall. There was an instant connection, and they became the best of friends, life partners. They enjoyed every facet of life together (traveling, cooking & shopping together, chatting over morning coffee, watching movies or just chilling and talking on the deck with a great cigar, beer, stiff drink or a glass of wine); they were inseparable. Warren and Evette created a successful, online, retail Ebay business called "Blue Blood Essentials" in which Warren would manage. He was especially fond of Desmond, who he considered to be his son. And the gift he gave to Desmond was teaching him the importance of being a responsible man of integrity, importance of education, good manners, work ethic, hospitality and dignity.
Warren is survived by his life partner Evette Kendall & his stepson Desmond Kendall, both of Robbinsville, New Jersey, his father Dr. James F.
