Mr. William A. Church Sr., 86, was born March 16, 1935. He was born in Cape Charles, Virginia to the late Welton and Myrtle M. Church. He departed his life on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.
William was educated in North Hampton County Public School System located in Virginia. He later moved Trenton, NJ where he met his beautiful wife Willieann Church. Mr. William A. Church Sr. gave his life to the Lord. He joined and was baptized at Greater Praise Ministry under the leadership of Dr. Alphonso Fenderson.
He wore many hats in the work field. He was a landscaper, professional painter, apartment building manager, carpenter and a great musician. Mr. William Church loved helping others who were in need.
Predeceased by his father Welton Church; mother Myrtle M. Church; 3 brothers Charles A. Church, Christopher Church, Clarence A Church; 1 sister Julia Church-Smith.
Leaving to celebrate his life his loving wife Willieann Church; daughters Slimes (Salema) Merl Jackson, Shirley Warren, Amy Lyons, Shirley Lyons, Diane Wright-Watts, Harriet Brooks, and Ethel Brooks; Sons William Church Jr., Thomas Robert Jackson and AI Jackson; Brothers Wilie and Welton Church; Sisters Merl
Church Sinclair, Lucy Ann Church, and Martha Church Fendersen; He had many grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. Mr. William A. Church Sr. was well loved and respected. He will be missed!
Funeral service will be 1pm Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Greater Praise Ministeries, 406 Parkinson Ave, Trenton, NJ 08610. Calling hours will be 11am until the time of service. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
