William McKinley Hayward Jr.

William McKinley Hayward Jr., aka "Billy” 74 of Trenton, NJ departed our lives peacefully July 25 2025 at Capital Health Hospital. He was surrounded by his love ones. Billy was born in New York on 03/05/1951. He Manhattan, gained his wings on 07/25/2025 He attended Trenton centra School. He was a “Wilbur Section” legend to many where his memories depth, with love, with children, family and abundance.

Billy' was a Uncle, Brother, Father, Cousin and Friend to so many. He touched lives and made relationships that lasted a lifetime. He loved to cook, sing, dance, watch movies, lottery, and family time, helping people. William’s favorite colors were Black, White and Tan.

When you saw "Billy" he was always with his grandkids, and his family. Family time was very important to him, the most important thing to him. F.O.E. He was a man of value and substance.

He was a "Black Belt" of Karate. He attended Lee's Karate School of Ewing, NJ with his brother James "Master" Lee Jr., the owner of Lee's Karate School.  He was a very hard dedicated working Man. Billy loved deep, hard and gave even harder with the way he loved, which was loud but proud at the same time

Billy was a true " Protector" of many souls. If you needed him, he was there no? He was a man of many skills. Billy worked at The Hun School of Princeton for 24 years. He retired in 2019. Billy loved photos, and being a handyman. There was no job too big or too small. Anyon who knew him; he was a true sarcastic Jokester. He loved to laugh and talk 'Shidddddd. Billy’s favorite food was lasagna, beans, haystacks Bean pies, & Cheesesteaks with 1 million onions..... Penny & Billy were two thieves setting people straight.

Billy was predeceased by his parents: Elizabeth Hayward, William Hayward SE. James Le e brother, 7/5/21, Nieces, Charmayne Lee. Aleane Terrell Cason, great- niece Raven Cason Aunt Majorie Banks, Aunt Janice Bacon, Uncle Charlie Bacon, Niece Concetta "Hayward. sister -in-law Elizabeth Lee.

Funeral service will be 1pm Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hours will be 11am until the time of service. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
