William Streater Obituary

William (Bill) L. Streater the son of the late William Charles Streater and Margert B. Streater was born July on July 28, 1941 in Princeton, NJ, he departed this life on August 31, 2020 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ. He was educated in the Princeton Public Schools and graduated from Princeton High School. He moved to Trenton, NJ in 1971 and in 1972, he married Henrietta Patterson.

Bill was employed at Tenacres Christian Science Nursing, retiring after 30 years of service. Bill enjoyed watching basketball and was a longtime Philadelphia Eagles fan. He loved spending time with his family and made the best spaghetti in Trenton. He was loving father and grandfather.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother Leon Green, sister Margret P. Harrel, granddaughter Ashley Monique Patterson, and great grandson Derek S. Streater, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Henrietta Elizabeth Streater, daughters Annette Patterson, Alechia Patterson, Martha Davis (Kevin), and Monica Streater (Gary), and son Stanley Patterson. His brother Charles Streater (Faye) and sister Sharon LeCompt. Sisters in-law Marie Scott, Betty Lawrence, Maxine Grant, and Carrie Sanders (Willie), brother in-law George (Janice), his grandchildren Kenya Davis, Kevin Davis, Jr., Marquise Patterson, Spring Bryson (Germaine), Keara Davis, Derek Streater, Christian Patterson, and Jamirra Streater, 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and special friends Logan Pemberton, George Tucker, and Rubien Johnson.
