Willie Brooks Obituary
Willie transitioned from life to eternity on Sunday, July 27, 2021 at Capital Health Hopewell in Hopewell, New Jersey. As a result, our hearts are less bright, but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter.
Willie James Brooks, born November 20, 1954 in South Brunswick, New Jersey to Willie Mae Brooks. He relocated to Trenton and was a longtime resident.
He was educated in the South Brunswick public school system. He was employed at Patient Transportation.
Willie was a very private person that loved his family, and he enjoyed the time he spent with family members and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Willie Mae Brooks; his stepfather Edward Alford; brother Jack; sister Jacklyn Brooks.
Willie's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by a sister Ethel Brooks; a brother Andrew Brooks; his nephew Clyde Brooks; a special friend Lynn Phillips; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 9am Friday, August 6, 2021 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.
