Willie L. Johnson

Willie Lawrence Johnson, 67, died Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ. He was born on July 7, 1953 to the late Willie Lee Johnson and the late Laura Mae Lemon Johnson in Trenton, New Jersey and was raised by the late Eva Mae Webster after the passing of his mother. He was a lifelong Trenton resident where he attended all of his schooling and graduated with a diploma from Trenton Central High School in 1971.

Willie worked for the State of New Jersey for 10+ years and moved on to work as a custodian for Helene Fuld Medical Center for 10+ years where he finally earned his retirement in November of 2019.

He is predeceased by his four sisters and three brothers:

Nora Jean Graham, Clara May Johnson, Queenie Esther Adams, Verdi Rutherford, Anthony Johnson, Larry Smith, Sam Smith.

He is survived by, one son Will Foskey of Trenton NJ, his siblings Ernest L Johnson of Seattle WA, Loreen Bess and David Johnson both of Trenton NJ, Johnny Smith, Diane Evans and her husband Bobby who was his best friend from childhood, all of Lawrenceville TN, Ernest R Johnson (Myra) of Atlanta GA, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends

Memorial services will be 5-7pm Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ, 08618. Interment will be private.
