Zakiyah Wright

Zakiyah Ameera Wright 35 was quietly called to her Heavenly Home on October 3, 2025. Kiyah as she was affectionately known by her family and friends, was born on April 8, 1990 in Trenton, NJ to the proud parents of the late Timothy Wright Sr. and Kim Wright. She was educated in the Trenton Public School and Charter School Systems. In her early years, Kiyah was a member of several Dance, Drill & Cheer Teams. She also was quite the athlete who ran track and played basketball. Kiyah was a former employee of H&M, Brunswick Pharmacy and Rick Bus Company.
 

Kiyah was a loving, caring person. She enjoyed her family, good food, music, doing hair, dancing and fashion. She was quite the fashionista with a sneaker collection out of this world. She wore all the latest styles and could make any outfit look amazing.
 

In 2018 Kiyah received her biggest blessing when she gave birth to her daughter Maliyah (Tink) who became her entire world. Watching Kiyah evolve into motherhood was priceless. She loved her little princess and made sure she didn't lack a thing. She devoted her life to being the best Mother to her baby girl and her daughter adored her mommy.

Kiyah is reunited in Heaven with her father, Timothy Wright Sr., her grandparents Earl and Jeanette Little, her Uncle David Little and a Cousin David Randall, Jr.
 

Kiyah leaves to cherish her memories her beloved daughter Maliyah Wright, her Loving Mother Kim Wright, 1 brother Timothy Wright, Jr. and 1 sister Laylaa Wright. Paternal Grandmother Sarah Barnes, 11 Aunts, Diane Little, Sharry Pegler, Geraldine Gutierrez, Michelle Williams (Emmitt), Katrice Simon (Gerry), Angela Randall, Tonya Wright, Kimberly Hardgrove (Drew), Diane Wright (Anthony), Andrea Glover & Brenda Green. 7 Uncles Alvin Little (Barbara), Keith Little, Jameel Little (Kiran), David Randali Trishl Leonard McClinton (Jessica), James Claridy, Donell Wright (Netta) 1 great Aunt, Barbara Dodson, A host of Cousins and a Special Partner Aikeem Thomas.
Special Big Sister, Shamica Robinson (Kent). Special Friends, Curtis Heads, Will Smith, Curtis Ames, Calvin Dodson, Fatima Jordan, Andrea, Diani Nazario, lyanna, & Shay.

Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
